VERONICA CORDOVA S., Screenwriter and Producer.

She was born in Cochabamba, Bolivia, in 1972. Graduated as screenwriter at the International School for Film and Television in San Antonio de los Baños (Cuba). She also completed an M.Phil. Degree in Screenwriting and a Ph.D. degree in Film Studies at the University of Bergen ( Norway ). She wrote, directed and produced the documentary film Comandante Octubre, winner of an Award at Cinema Plaza Festival in Havana (Cuba). She co-directed with Fernando Vargas the film Tierra Adentro, and wrote, produced and directed the documentary film Trono, about a theater group formed by street children in El Alto, Bolivia. This documentary was distributed in México, Canada and Peru. Currently, she is Producer for Imagen Propia and teaches film at the University of Bergen.
